Sydney began her career as an educator 17 years ago, starting in Chicago, Illinois. She has been teaching in Las Vegas for the past 16 years. The bulk of my career in education has been spent teaching 5th grade and 6th grade science. I've recently added robotics to my resume as a coach and teacher.I'm passionate about what I do and approach each day with trying to be the change I want to see. I believe all students are capable of greatness and my goal is to help them see and achieve their goals. Building relationships and getting to know students is a key factor in being a successful teacher, students need to believe that you care, and that is a goal I strive to achieve in my career as an educator. I've coached many clubs/after school activities and I'm a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. The sorority motto is Greater Service, Greater Progress and through my career as a teacher I'm able to proudly live our motto.
