Race, Equity, Critical Mentorship & The Black Teacher Experience Session 2

"Race, Equity, Critical Mentorship & The Black Teacher Experience" is a 2-session, 6-hour, virtual growth and development course, curated by Code Switch: Restorative Justice for Girls of Color (Code Switch) in partnership with the Southern Nevada Black Educator Initiative (SNBEI). Established for the Amplifying Black Voices Pilot Project, it is designed to introduce participating pre- and in-service teachers to critical mentorship, healing engaged praxis, racial equity, and the requirements of the mentorship pilot. It will also open space for participants to develop mentored relationships with each other and program leaders.
