Dr. Rasheed Malik

My name is Dr. Rasheed Malik and I teach 7th grade math at the same middle school I went to in the 9th grade. I have 17 years teaching experience, and I wrote my dissertation on how at-risk African American Boys answer mathematical word problems on high stakes tests. I Have a doctorate in educational leadership. I am interested in furthering my knowledge on the relationship African American males have with school and learning. My goal is to become a principal at an inner-city school in the community I grew up in.
