My name is Shondra Afrim and I am from Los Angeles, California. I earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University and worked for the Los Angeles County Department of Human Resources before relocating to Las Vegas. I am currently an educator with the Clark County School District. I earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at UNLV. I taught elementary school grades 1st through 4th for 12 years. I now teach math at Gunderson Middle School. My goal every year is to respect and build relationships with my students so that they can meet the goals and expectations we establish in the classroom. In addition to being a teacher, I am also a mother of one. My daughter, Eryn, is a student at Gunderson Middle School.
